That’s the estimate of how many children will be sexually abused before they turn 18. COVID-19 has changed so much about our world: from how we do our work to how we connect with loved ones. But abuse continues to happen, and in some circumstances, the risk is even greater with more kids staying home and having less contact with adults who may notice and report possible maltreatment.
Your gift will help ensure that teams of professionals all across Minnesota can focus on what matters most, helping kids—by coordinating their efforts so no child is forced to relive their trauma.
$150 helps grow a network of mental health providers who can provide support to kids and families via tele-health visits anywhere in the state. | |
$75 funds expert assistance on child abuse response with a multidisciplinary team, helping them strengthen their work to keep kids safe. |

$25 sustains peer-to-peer support for advocates and forensic interviewers, helping improve their skillset and prevent burnout. |
$10 covers the registration cost for one multidisciplinary team member to attend a professional development training. |
During Give to the Max, your donation will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 through a generous matching grant. Double your impact and help us help kids by giving today.
A children's advocacy center is a child-focused, facility-based program in which representatives from many disciplines, including law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical, and victim advocacy, work together to conduct interviews and make team decisions about the investigation, treatment, management and prosecution of child abuse cases.
