When violence or abuse touches a child or family, access to compassionate, trauma-informed care close to home can make the difference between continued suffering and the first steps toward healing. In communities across Southwest Minnesota, our nonprofit is that lifeline—standing beside survivors of domestic and sexual violence, child abuse, and human trafficking, and the loved ones who support them.

Every day as we are working with victims of violence, we ask critical questions: How do we prevent violence before it begins? How do we raise awareness so survivors know help is available? How do we support someone with dignity and compassion when they are ready to come forward? How do we educate communities to respond with understanding rather than judgment? The work can feel overwhelming—but we know one thing for certain: no one heals alone.

That is why your support matters. When you give, you ensure that survivors in our communities are met with understanding instead of isolation, safety instead of fear, and hope instead of silence. Your generosity fuels prevention, education, and life-changing services for children, individuals, and families who need them most.

This February, during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, your generosity will help us reach young people with prevention, education, and trauma-informed services that can change the course of a life. Your support provides real help, right when families are taking brave first steps toward safety and healing.

Thank you for standing with survivors and for helping build safer, stronger communities across Southwest Minnesota.
