Cooperative Development Fund of CDS

Where Cooperation is at Work, Communities Prosper!

The Cooperative Development Fund of CDS exists to help start and grow cooperative enterprises, both directly and through our affiliated organization, Cooperative Development Services (CDS). We achieve this by educating about cooperatives, providing guidance to new and existing cooperatives, and helping co-ops access philanthropic resources in their communities through grant writing and charitable contributions. In a typical year, we work with well over 100 co-ops and a dozen startups in some meaningful way--and we've been at it for 40 years!

Designating a client fund: 

We also provide support to many co-ops through our nationwide fiscal sponsorship program.  If you would like to support one of our client co-ops, just click on the "Fund Designation" box below the General Fund selection and choose the designated fund for the co-op you wish to support.
