Save One More with Northern Lakes Rescue

Northern Lakes Rescue is a 501(c)(3) foster home-based dog rescue in Baxter, Minnesota. We are a organization run by several volunteers that work hard everyday to help save dogs not only here in Minnesota shelters, reservations, and owner surrenders, but also in surrounding areas and other states.

Our volunteers devote their spare time to help find dogs and rehabilitate them to be able to live a happy life with loving families. 

All dogs are completely vetted through us to ensure they are healthy for adoption. New adopters are also provided with numerous resources not only through the adoption process and life of their companion.

At Northern Lakes Rescue we not only rescues dogs, but also try to focus on giving back to other dogs in need by donating food and supplies to low-income shelters.

Here at Northern Lakes Rescue you just don't adopt a dog, you are adopted into our family!

Our Goals for this years event:

For this year's Give to the Max Day, Northern Lakes Rescue is raising funds to go toward:

• Life-saving medical treatment for things like heart-worm, sickness, and emergency surgeries
• Routine vaccinations to help these dogs live their healthiest, longest lives possible
• Spay/neuter procedures that improve their health and to help limit the number of unwanted animals in need of rescue
• Gas to Transport dogs from different areas or states
• Day to day costs for our home base so that our volunteers can continue working tirelessly to find and rescue more dogs by placing them in loving, forever homes
