Haley's Fundraiser for FFEN

As you may know, I serve on the Board of Directors for the Foundation For Essential Needs (FFEN), a local organization with statewide impact.

FFEN serves as a valued and trusted partner in hunger relief in moments like these. We don't provide food , we provide expertise and a third-party perspective to help food shelves navigate change.  

As food shelf visits surge, FFEN comes alongside food shelf leaders, helping them re-think how they can serve with dignity while creating efficiencies to meet the increased demand for food. 

Food shelves, just like Groveland Emergency Services Food Shelf in Minneapolis, which is operating in the same space with the same resources and the same volunteers but serving 281% more people than in 2019. 

FFEN helps overwhelmed food shelf leaders like Sharon, at Groveland, bridge the challenge of serving 230 people in 2.5 hours a day through improved operations, training, resources and access to data.

When you support FFEN, you fuel the strategy behind 300 food shelves in Minnesota serving 375,000 food shelf visits each month. 

Your donation will:

• Support and sustain overwhelmed food shelf leaders navigating surging demand and limited staff.
• Ensure consistent access to fresh, healthy foods through smarter sourcing and logistics support.
• Stabilize operations at food shelves and reduce food interruptions with prompt technical support and on-site assessments that allow leaders to continue serving their communities.
