I've been a member of the board of directors of the Duluth Community Garden Program since 2019 - in that time I have seen firsthand the organization's dedication to support of land access, food justice, and sustainability.
This year, DCGP is building a new garden in the Endion neighborhood. To support the garden and financial and resource sustainability, we are putting in a rain catchment system to offset water needs. The system costs DCGP $1000, and is an investment in the future of the garden and Endion's neighborhood food system.
