I’m fundraising for AmazeWorks because this work hits close to home.
As a member of an LGBTQ+ family, I know how powerful it is to feel like you belong—and how painful it is when you don’t. Safe spaces, true community, and a deep sense of connection aren't just nice-to-haves.
They’re essential. Especially for kids.
In today’s climate, where so many are being told they don’t belong, I felt like I couldn’t just sit on the sidelines anymore. I needed to do more. And I found my "more" in AmazeWorks.
AmazeWorks has been showing up for children, teachers, and communities for nearly three decades, through seven presidential administrations, countless school cycles, and some of the most challenging moments in education.
They equip educators to create classrooms where every student—no matter their race, gender identity, background, or ability—feels supported, seen, and celebrated.
They’re not chasing trends or headlines. They’re building something lasting. Something courageous. Something that says: you belong here.
I’m raising funds because I want to help protect that message. Because I believe in creating spaces where kids can thrive just as they are. And because I know firsthand the difference it makes when someone is willing to stand up and say, 'We're in this together.'
If this resonates with you, I’d be honored to have your support. Let’s bring belonging to life—one classroom, one story, one student at a time.
With deep gratitude,
Rich
