In honor of Sage that made a total transformation during her rescue journey

$5,000 goal

Sage is one of those dogs that you just don't forget. She will pop in your head at random times. Her smile, her demeanor, her way to be are one of a kind. Her body will tell you the story of a past that wasn't easy. Her skin is saggy, many times she had given birth to another litter outside somewhere, having to raise babies but not always having enough to eat herself. Her eyes were swollen - she could hardly see and her fur was patchy and almost strawlike to the touch. Her body was covered with calluses and scars. Yet, here she was, in my car, shyly looking over the seat, glancing at me in wonder. She didn't know it yet but better days were ahead for her. Not another day of her going hungry, never again sleeping outside in the elements and motherhood would be forever a thing in the past. It was time to transform her! And she did! While her story is unique, her situation isn't really. There are many underserved communities without resources for their animals. When a family can't care for their dogs or cats adequately they don't have anywhere to go for help, no shelter, no community services. Rescue Network is bridging that gap by providing basic medical services to families, dog and cat food and also taking in owner surrenders when that is what is best for the animal and the family too.

We have spent over $160,000 on medical expenses, $15,000 on gas, and $18,000 on boarding so far this year. We NEED your help to continue our mission of saving animals.

$5 or $500 it all adds up and every cent we raise goes to our animals in rescue! We have a very generous match of $5,000 if we can hit our end goal.
