Green Girls STEM Foundation exposes young people to the benefits of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) by demonstrating robots and providing information on starting robotics clubs. We also provide STEM information via our website, teaching materials and speaking at technology events about the benefits of STEM careers and the need to increase women in the field. We present and demonstrate robotics and STEM activities at over 60+ events a year which range from science museums, state fairs, robotics competitions, charitable organizations and technology programs. The kids love our robot demonstrations and often start their own teams or visit us again. We have started many separate girls' robotics teams over the years. Our presentations at events and colleges encourages women to choose STEM careers. Our information enables coaches and teachers to find information on starting clubs and STEM resources and other charitable organizations dedicated to promoting STEM. We collaborate with other robotics teams and groups to maximize our impact on current efforts. Our primary focus is women and diverse students with the goal of improving the statistics of underrepresented groups in STEM within college degrees and companies.

How Funds Are Used:

1. Awarding FIRST scholarships to highly involved, STEM driven females

- Market scholarships on FIRST website: https:/www.firstinspires.org/scholarships

- Provide $1,000 scholarships to FIRST females and diverse students that have actively engaged in FIRST robotics learning about STEM to further their interest and knowledge while giving back to the community by teaching other girls about STEM and robotics. Scholarships will be applied towards a post-secondary STEM education.

2. Granting diverse teams financial season assistance to recognize their STEM focus and community outreach impact

- Award FIRST or VEX robotics teams and Destination Imagination teams with more than 50% diversity financial assistance of $500 to cover new kits, parts or registration.

- Encourage students to continue their interest in STEM fields by pursing high school STEM courses and eventually a STEM degree.

3. Giving World Championship-bound teams financial assistance

- Award $500 to teams to help with travel and lodging expenses.

- Share other ways to raise money and offer guidance to reduce financial impact while at the championship.
