Each year Beyond Walls invests $5,000 in every child in the program. Recent reports find that only 40% of Minnesota’s children are at grade level when entering kindergarten, and that the achievement gap only widens from that point. Currently, only four states in the U.S. have a larger achievement gap than Minnesota. Your donation will help to provide academic support to students in the Twin Cities as they begin their quest towards higher education. A majority of these children will be first-generation college students, and begin their preparation towards this goal once they enter Beyond Walls in 6th grade.
