The 2020 MATHCOUNTS State Meet: celebrating and challenging mathletes!

Thank you for coming to the MATHCOUNTS State Meet 

Is your child a mathlete? Congratulations! Champion mathletes reach their goals with talent, persistence and lots of support from their families

State MATHCOUNTS offers parents, siblings and coaches a chance to celebrate their mathletes and recognize their accomplishments. And those accomplishments are significant. More than 1,200 students work, study, practice and practice some more to compete at Chapter meets and to advance to State.  

Chapter and State meets are great events for mathletes and they exist thanks to support from community groups, foundations,  engineering companies, volunteers, members of Engineering Alliance Minnesota (formerly MnSPE), parents and friends of MATHCOUNTS. 

As area foundations shift priorities, MATHCOUNTS  needs your support more than ever. With your help,   next year’s State Meet will be as challenging and fun as this year’s event for all of Minnesota’s mathletes.

Please help your child’s MATHCOUNTS team raise at least $100 by March 20, 2020. If each team raises $100 (or $25/ mathlete), you and your team will help to ensure that next  year’s mathletes enjoy the fun, challenge and satisfaction of participating in the complete state competition experience.

To make sure that every qualified mathlete who advances to State can participate in the full competition weekend, MATHCOUNTS underwrites the competition  including mathletes' hotel and room fees.
