Melissa's Fundraiser (and Rufus gets treats)!

Hello Friends and Family, 

For Give to the Max and during this season of giving, would you join me in supporting Avenues for Youth? Your giving TODAY will not only help us to meet our match, but your impact will be doubled. AND, for every gift to my fundraiser, I'll give my dog, Rufus, a delicious treat and share a photo of it with you.

You might ask yourself, "why should I support Avenues?" 

To answer that, I can share my "why." I personally support Avenues (and I work at Avenues) because it's a wonderful organization that's taking action for and with young people. Avenues is ending homelessness one young person at a time. It's our caring program staff that make the difference - they walk alongside youth in their journeys and support youth every step of the way as they reach for their dreams.

In the meantime, here are the facts: 

Each night in Minnesota, approximately 5,000 youth experience homelessness. 

For over 28 years Avenues for Youth has been partnering with youth experiencing homelessness. Whether youth need a place to stay for one night or a year and a half, Avenues is here for youth in this part of their journey.

At Avenues, youth are the drivers of their journeys, and their experiences guide the programs. Avenues operates multiple programs to meet young people's unique needs and goals. Youth have options and can choose whichever path is the best fit for their future.
