Last year, Minnesota food shelves saw an all-time high of 7.5 million visitors - 2 million more than the year before. The end to pandemic relief programs, rising food prices, and record inflation bring uncertainty and an increase in hunger for thousands of Minnesotans.
The hunger relief network is stretched thin to sustain support at the level needed. Your participation in The Food Group's Board of Directors Spring Drive will replenish inventory, bolster the response to the urgent need, and spark the momentum we need right now.
Now is the time to donate! The Food Group's Board of Directors will match donations up to $18,000 until May 12th!
Your gift will be used for immediate relief in our community.
$10 provides 20 meals for children who don't have consistent access to food over the weekend.
$25 provides a hot meal per week for a year to a senior living alone.
$100 provides enough food for a family of four to eat three nutritious meals a day for two weeks.
