Your gift today will provide nutritious and culturally connected food for local communities!

Food for today. Change for tomorrow.

The Food Group provides hunger relief in Minnesota and western Wisconsin as historic levels of inflation impact food access for thousands of families with children, seniors and individuals in our local communities. The record-breaking price increases of food, energy, and housing are causing an increase in food shelf visits in Minnesota.

Your support equips The Food Group to provide nutritious and culturally connected foods to the community. We know these foods are generally more expensive and more difficult to access for those most affected by hunger. Without access to these high quality foods, adults and children experience more health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity. Our BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color) communities, seniors and kids are disproportionately affected by these food-related diseases.

In Minnesota, 1 in 11 kids are hungry. Seniors are the fasting growing group of food shelf users. Our BIPOC communities continue to experience food insecurity at higher rates than the rest of Minnesota.

With your help, The Food Group has delivered more than 5.6 million meals in 2022. Let's keep the momentum going! We are currently distributing to a network of more than 230 food shelf and meal program partners reaching 30 counties in MN and Western WI.
