The Food Group is rapidly responding to ensure fear is not a barrier for communities to access food right now. 

In partnership with food shelves and trusted grassroots community-led partners, we are identifying new distribution methods and partnerships to ensure food is safely and effectively getting to immigrant communities as they are being targeted.

Increased ICE presence in Minnesota is creating fear that is keeping many local families of color from accessing the food they need. We are already seeing sharp declines in food shelf visits, not because hunger has decreased, but because fear has grown.
