Lake Area Bank's core focus is to make a difference in people's lives.  With many of us spending more time at home, we understand making a difference in people's lives includes their beloved pets -- and the physical and mental health benefits that can go along with owning a pet.

DID YOU KNOW?  Pets can improve your health!  According to the CDC, studies have shown that the bond between people and their pets can increase fitness, lower stress, and bring happiness to their owners. 

You can help support animal rescue organizations that save pets.  During the month of May (National Pet Month), Lake Area Bank will collect much-needed pet items for distribution to local rescue organizations.  In addition to collecting these basic-need items in our branch locations, please consider donating to Northwoods Humane Society.  

Northwoods Humane Society's mission is caring for animals in need. The homeless, strays, abused, neglected, lost. Heal them, love them, help them find a home.  We strive to improve the lives of homeless animals by providing compassionate care until permanent loving homes can be found. We promote responsible adoptions and offer post-adoption support for the human-animals relationship.
