$15,000 Goal

By the end of 2022, over 1400 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens will come through the doors of Northwoods Humane Society in need of help. In addition, another 1000 dogs and cats from other rescue organizations will receive spay/neuter and other surgery or medical services at our shelter. The fees we collect for surrenders, adoptions and services to other rescues help us to continue to operate. But they're only about half of what we need to keep providing these services in our community. The rest of our support comes from fundraising events and animal heroes like you. I hope that you will consider making a donation today to help us continue our mission. The animals need you!

During Give To The Max month in November, we focus on raising money for our Above And Beyond Fund. All of the cats and dogs who come to Northwoods receive the love and care (food, housing, enrichment, basic medical care and spay/neuter surgery) prior to being adopted into their new family. But some animals needs a little bit more before they're ready to find their new, loving homes - additional medical care, treatment, medication or surgery; behavioral training with a professional or other resources to help them to find their new home. The Above And Beyond Fund ensures that we have the ability to help those animals who need extra care.

**Join us on Give To The Max Day on Thursday, November 17, on Facebook or Instagram as we share stories of the animals who've been helped by the Above And Beyond Fund during the past year!**

Northwoods Humane Society was founded in 1975 by a group of caring individuals who saw a need for sheltering unwanted animals in Chisago County. All of these animals were housed in foster homes until the dream of a building could come true. In 2000 the doors were opened for our location in Wyoming, MN. We provide services to surrender pets, adopt pets and have a variety of low cost spay and neuter programs available to the public. All adoptable animals remain in our care until they find new homes.

Caring for animals in need. The homeless, strays, abused, neglected, lost. Heal them, love them, help them find a home.
