Moving Forward

Breaking Free humbly seeks support to promote 'moving forward' into safe, sustainable housing for those most impacted by commercial sexual exploitation. 

Your support will give Breaking Free the ability to relocate 34 families in Ramsey County to neighborhoods where they can thrive by promoting and cultivating growth and sustainability. This relocation will allow clients to move forward into a more safe, and sustainable housing situation. Relocating will bridge the gaps in transportation for our clients, promotes safer living standards, and creates an opportunity to enhance the quality of life for survivors and their families. 

Breaking Free has identified a need to expand permanent supportive housing into Anoka and Washington counties to better support clients experiencing sexual exploitation and homelessness in those areas. Expanding to offer permanent supportive housing in Anoka and Washington counties will create opportunities for long-term stability in safe quality communities away from the determinants that lead clients back into “the life”, while promoting and cultivating growth and sustainability for our survivors and their families.
