There are few things as heart-warming as causes that create fulfillment for those our communities often overlook.

Established in 1948 and headquartered in Northeast Minneapolis, AccessAbility serves an incredibly diverse community of people, all of whom face barriers to sustainable employment and community inclusion. These barriers include disabilities, homelessness, prior involvement in the criminal justice system, and limited English literacy, just to name a few. By partnering with businesses and organizations throughout the Twin Cities, we are able to provide programs and services which help people remain on a path to self-sufficiency.

As for many businesses, COVID19 hit the Day Training and Habilitation industry hard. With restrictions placed on our vulnerable populations to protect their health, our program attendance dropped to a small fraction of normal participation. Many other similar organizations have not survived the pandemic. Just now, additional restrictions are being lifted to allow six-hour days at 50% capacity, so we hope to have half our persons served by early December.

We are seeking donations to support the restart of programs for our returning persons served and for operating expenses that will help us remain viable until the revenues from their participation improves.

Every dollar counts, so no donation is too small. Wishes for safety and good health to all of you.
