A Little Angel: Serenity Grace

This year, we are walking in honor of our daughter, Serenity Grace Burke, who was born on May 19, 2025, and spent just 8 hours and 41 minutes with us before going home to Heaven. Though her time on earth was brief, her impact on our lives is everlasting.

Losing a child is a pain no parent should ever have to face. In the midst of our heartbreak, Halos of St. Croix Valley stepped in and supported us in ways we’ll never forget. They covered the cost of Serenity’s cremation and provided compassionate guidance and resources that helped us begin to navigate the fog of grief.

Now, we walk in her name—to remember her, to celebrate her, and to give back to the organization that carried us when we couldn't carry ourselves. Every dollar raised helps Halos support other grieving families, just like they did for ours.
