Youth and young families who have stayed with Avenues often share that this was the place where they found home and where they remember the end of their journey in homelessness. I hear about the impact of Avenues firsthand in my role on staff as director of development & communications, and I do believe that youth are resilient, inspiring, and the drivers of their own journey.
It's in the way that Avenues creates a home - with caring adults, holistic supports, and welcoming spaces - that makes our organization so special.
For Give to the Max and during this season of giving, would you join me in supporting Avenues for Youth? Your giving TODAY will not only help us to meet our match, but your impact will be doubled. AND, for every gift to my fundraiser, my husband, Doug, and I will take our rough collie, Rufus, to the local dog park. This is his very favorite thing in the whole world!! Afterwards, we'll share a photo with you.
