Dental To The Max 2024

The majority of horses at Witchtree Training Center require more care than the average horse owner is willing or able to afford.  Our unique program allows us to commit time and other resources to maintaining a high quality of life for them.

Witchtree Training Center is able to give "dentally challenged" horses priority due to our incredible fortune of having access to a veterinary dental specialist and our horses being considered for teaching opportunities for veterinarians in our region.  This is why we dedicate our annual Give To The Max campaign to maintaining an appropriate dental care budget.

Two surgeries for Witchtree Training Center horses are scheduled for December 2nd.  River has a degenerative disorder called EOTRH that causes damaging lesions on her teeth.  Wailuku is over 20 now, and her aging teeth need more than standard care can address.  Peace was diagnosed with EOTRH when he broke an incisor this summer so even though he is not on the surgical list this time, he will be in the future.
We have an open rain check for additional post-surgical feed that wasn't in stock at a local retailer when it was recently on sale.   By working with this retailer we have saved hundreds of dollars, this time it will be over $50 ...just one more way we utilize donated resources To The Max!
