Barb and Todd's Fundraiser for FTMN

As foster grandparents, we never imagined just how much this journey would shape our hearts and deepen our commitment to serving foster families. When our daughter and son-in-law opened their home to children in foster care, we got an up-close view of the challenges, joys, and life-changing moments that come with fostering. It didn’t take long for us to realize how vital a supportive community is for these families. That’s why we’re so passionate about our roles with Foster Together MN. Barb serves as treasurer on the Board of Directors, and together we volunteer regularly at events and Abundant Goods, doing our part to make sure families have what they need to thrive.

We’ve seen firsthand how having access to essential items can relieve some of the burden on foster families, allowing them to focus on creating a nurturing environment for the children they welcome in. Each item on the shelves at Abundant Goods, each smile we see at an event, reminds us why this work matters. We want every family to feel that they’re not alone, that there’s a network of people who care and want to see them succeed.
