Wild Compass Environmental Education's Mission is To Nurture a Passion For Nature With Hands-On Environmental Education. 

Wild Compass Environmental Education is based in southwestern Minnesota and is dedicated to nurturing a passion for nature with hands-on environmental education.

Wild Compass programs serve preschool through adults learners using onsite and outreach programs to educate about the environment and helping people establish a sense of place and appreciation for the communities in which we live. 

Since 1990, Wild Compass has offered field trips, community education classes, large group assemblies, Nature Tots classes, and more. Southwest Minnesota is home to a diverse environment rich in natural resource history which guides the variety of programs offered.  

 In April, a semi truck collided with the Ecology Bus, putting it out of commission. To continue to inspire the next generation, PEBC needs twenty new macroscopes and other essential equipment. The macroscopes will allow students to observe the intricate details of the world around them! The Ecology Bus had one macroscope connected to multiple monitors that showed passengers a closer look at leaves, insects, furs and other program materials, thus sparking curiosity and a deeper connection to the environment.
