MITY - Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth

MITY provides unique academic enrichment programs to advanced learners in grades one through eleven.  Over 800 students from 271 different schools attended MITY in the past year.  Of those, approximately 40% identified as BIPOC and 24% received full or partial financial aid.  For many of these young people, MITY is the only place that they can be themselves and feel an intimate sense of belonging.  We are proud that 100% of students and parents report that they would recommend MITY to others. 

MITY’s mission is to inspire and challenge intellectually curious students to pursue their passions within a diverse, inclusive community and empower them by building skills and relationships for lifelong success.  Established in 1967 as Twin Cities Institute for Talented Youth (TCITY), MITY continues to grow and evolve as it seeks to prepare the next generation of leaders.

MITY’s goal is to support at least 25% of our student population with full or partial scholarships according to need.  Please consider giving a gift to help ensure that all motivated young people have the opportunity to explore themselves and what they are capable of.  100% of donations go toward student scholarships.
