We create real housing solutions at a fraction of the construction cost for the service organization, which is our gift to the community. We ensure the upgrades and new building projects are of the highest quality, and the work is both efficient and long-lasting.

The Housing First Minnesota Foundation is the charitable arm of Housing First Minnesota, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Since 1995, we have brought together the talents of local builders, remodelers, suppliers, and volunteers to construct and renovate transitional housing throughout the Twin Cities. Driven by the belief that dignified shelter is the foundation for stability, we deliver safe, quality housing to Minnesotans experiencing homelessness — including veterans, mothers in recovery, youth, and families. Each donation goes directly toward building and renovating homes that transform lives — one project can serve dozens for decades to come. The mission is simple yet profound: Build safe housing.
