Let's step up to end youth homelessness!

Give to the Max to support dignified employment opportunities for young people ages 16-24 experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities. 

Wildflyer Coffee pays a living wage while teaching youth the skills needed to maintain stable employment and leave homelessness behind for good. 

We have a big goal of $30,000. Why? Because our youth need it. Many of our program participants utilize SNAP and other benefits to receive groceries and increase their food stability. Many of these individuals are losing - or have lost - their benefits and are back in an unstable place. So we're committing to using our Give to the Max Day Funds to put money directly in the hands of youth experiencing homelessness for their food.

Even giving just an extra $10 to your planned donation can make a huge difference in the lives of our young folks.

 

At Wildflyer Coffee we know that maintaining stable employment is one of the biggest barriers young people can face when experiencing homelessness. 

Youth ages 16-24 participate in our training program and are supported every step of the way so that upon graduation, they feel confident and prepared to enter the job market.

Wildflyer’s four-month Work & Life Skills Training Program provides young people like Tori and Sky the opportunity to develop the skills and the confidence that enable them to find and maintain employment–providing a pathway out of homelessness. 

From our inception in 2017 through 2024, we employed 115 young people – demonstrating the significant need for programming like ours.

Community is essential to the life of Wildflyer. 

From customers to staff to case workers to volunteers to donors, each of us is needed within the fabric of our organization to achieve success. 

And YOU are a huge part of that! Maybe more than you know…Whenever you come into a Wildflyer shop and order coffee, you are creating a training opportunity for those in our program to learn customer service skills, not to mention honing their barista skills by making your delicious drink!

With just a $130 donation, you can directly support 8 hours of youth wages, covering a full shift for a young person.
