Kiri's Fundraiser for VLN

I've been volunteering with Volunteer Lawyers Network since I was a summer associate in 2009, and the organization holds a special place in my heart.  From staffing walk-in clinics for people who are desperate for legal advice, to representing tenants facing eviction and homelessness at a low point in their lives, I've had the chance to make a small difference in the lives of low-income Minnesotans and VLN does this on a much larger scale every day. 

This year, as a board-member, I was inspired to do my own fundraising to help VLN reach their $12,000 Give to the Max Day goal to support free legal services for low income Minnesotans. VLN helps thousands of Minnesotans each year who would otherwise go without legal assistance in civil legal cases of eviction, divorce, custody, bankruptcy, immigration, and more. Volunteer Lawyers Network is able to provide these services for free through their network of hundreds of passionate legal professionals who volunteer their time and expertise for those in need. 

Every donation supports access to justice for all Minnesotans-- not just those who can afford a lawyer. I hope you will join me in supporting VLN. Thank you!
