Fear is keeping families from food. Our neighbors are living under constant threat and the fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent just blocks from our food shelf has shattered any sense of safety. People are afraid to leave their homes. They can't go to work, can't pick up groceries, and can't access the resources they need.
At the same time, the Trump administration has frozen federal SNAP benefits for nearly 454,000 Minnesotans, cutting off over $129 million in food assistance. As federal support vanishes and ICE enforcement continues, local action is critical.
When our community needs us, we step up. We've expanded our delivery services to bring food directly to families' doors.
Your Emergency Response Fund donation helps us:
- Expand delivery capacity to reach more families unable to leave their homes
- Increase our food supplies to meet growing demand
- Continue serving the 3,000+ people who rely on us monthly
- Provide essential support as federal SNAP funding disappears
Our community is counting on us. Your donation ensures we can continue serving our neighbors when they need us most.
Food shelf visitors shop and choose their own items in our store-like space.
Calvary staff and volunteers help create a safe and welcoming environment.
We always offer a variety of fresh produce.
We provide meat, milk, eggs, butter, as well as other protein and dairy products.
