Peter's Fundraiser for VLN

I'm fundraising to help Volunteer Lawyers Network reach its $12,000 goal to support free legal services to low income Minnesotans. As a board member and long-time volunteer for VLN, I personally get to see how much VLN helps folks who cannot afford an attorney deal with legal challenges.  I've seen the impact VLN can have by providing legal support to those who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it - whether it be helping families with small children avoid eviction, or making sure somebody living on a fixed income gets their wrongfully withheld security deposit back.  

VLN helps thousands of Minnesotans each year who would otherwise go without legal assistance in civil legal cases of eviction, divorce, custody, bankruptcy, immigration, and more. Donating to VLN helps ensure it is able to provide these services for free through their network of hundreds of passionate legal professionals who volunteer their time and expertise for those in need.  

Every donation supports access to justice for all Minnesotans -- even for those who can't afford a lawyer.  So I'd ask you to please make a donation to help me meet my goal of raising $750 for VLN.  Thank you for your consideration.
