Donor support helps Fireweed deliver classes, events, resources, and opportunities to gather and share skills while centering our values of Community and Belonging, Nurturing Woodcraft, and Practicing Better Futures. Donor support is vital in keeping classes affordable and accessible to students.
The photo above shows the joy of learning and building skills during a 3 day class called Wedged Tenon Joinery for Stools where students exercised their creativity to design and build a stool of their own (shape, height, quantity and style of legs) while learning from Instructor and Accomplished Teaching Artist Teresa Audet.
