Right now, more people than ever are suffering in silence, and our churches are not yet ready to meet them.

I know because I was one of them.

Recovery saved my life 39 years ago. Ministry gave me purpose.

And now I am spending every ounce of my calling awakening the church to this important mission. The church should be a place where no one has to hide their pain or pretend they’re okay.

Through the Center of Addiction & Faith, we are equipping pastors, congregations, and faith leaders to face addiction honestly, walk with struggling families, and build communities where truth and grace meet. And it’s working—but the need is growing faster than our resources.

This Give to the Max Day, I am asking you—personally—to stand with us. Your gift today will help:

  • Train more faith leaders to respond wisely and compassionately
  • Support clergy in recovery and crisis
  • Bring healing models to congregations nationwide
  • End stigma and silence in the pews
  • Every gift is fuel for a movement the Church desperately needs.

Please don’t wait. Someone in a pew, a pulpit, or a family right now is praying for hope — and your support helps us reach them. Thank you — sincerely — for believing that the Church can be a place of truth, healing, and recovery.

With gratitude and urgency for the work ahead, Pastor Ed Treat
