Tri-County Humane Society is gearing up for the 37th year of their Companion Walk for Animals! Once again, the theme will be Woofstock, so dust off your bell bottoms.
The Companion Walk is one of Tri-County Humane Society's key fundraisers for homeless animals and takes place Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wilson Park in St. Cloud.
I’m walking to help shelter animals at Tri-County Humane Society! Every donation ensures that TCHS can continue providing shelter and quality medical care while giving our animals the second chance they deserve. Please donate, any amount helps!
August 12, 2020 we took a chance on a timid and scared 3 year old long haired orange male cat named “Spud.” Who was an owner surrender at TCHS. The family who surrendered him gave the reason for surrendering as “doesn’t get along with other animals in the house.” We brought him home and he basically hid under my daughters bed and only came out for the occasional treat or at night when the house was quite for the first two weeks. He gained confidence and after slow introductions he got used to our two dogs and now he even snuggles with our pitty Nova. Our 2 girl cats were weary and took a little longer to accept him but they all live in harmony now and we couldn’t be more in love with our snuggly, silly and super squishy Spud-a-licious!
