Give to the Max for the Animals Who Need Us Most

Every day, the doors of Tri-County Humane Society open to animals with stories as unique as they are — a frightened kitten found alone, a senior dog surrendered with love, a rabbit looking for a gentle hand. Each one receives care, comfort, and the promise of a fresh start because of you.

Half of our annual budget comes from donations — and we receive no government funding. That’s why Give to the Max Day is so important. Your gift directly provides food, shelter, medical care, and love to thousands of animals every year.

Your support makes all this possible:

• 5,000 animals cared for annually

• A 90%+ placement rate for more than a decade — with no time limits on healthy, happy pets

• About 3,100 in-house surgeries each year, ensuring every adopted pet is spayed or neutered

• Every animal vaccinated, microchipped, and loved before adoption

• An average stay of just eight days, with around 100 adoptions each week during busy seasons

• Low-cost microchip clinics that help reunite more lost pets with their families

• Volunteer and foster opportunities for all ages

• Affordable pet supplies through our Re-Tail Shoppe and For Pets’ Sake Thrift Store

• A new Pet Food Pantry helping families keep pets at home and cared for
