Jared’s Fundraiser for Family Tree Clinic

Hello! My name is Jared and I’m fundraising in support of Family Tree Clinic!

Though a long-time fan, I recently joined Family Tree as the Communications Manager in June of 2026. While I knew of the positive impact the organization had on many of my chosen family, my friends, and the family of my friends, I wasn’t expecting how powerful it would be to see the day to day joy that our work has on our community members. I often joke that it isn’t a week at Family Tree without me crying (with joy, solidarity, rage, etc) over the work we do, the community that supports us, the challenges we face, and watching my colleagues create a better world for our patients and for each other.

You already know what we’re up against: laws that strip our autonomy to choose what’s best for our own bodies, federal cuts to lifesaving educational programs, and a never ending nightmare cycle of state sponsored terror. And at every turn, we are fighting back. Whether that’s by offering affordable access to care, or teaching fact-based sex ed across the state, or partnering with government and local organizations to make sure we sustain funding for our local community health ecosystem - we show up. And so does our community.

As we go into 2027 with the possibility of a better world, I’m asking you to show up and make that world a reality for our patients and community. I’m asking you to show up, with us, for trans health. I’m asking you to show up, with us, for fact-based sex ed. I’m asking you to show up, with us, for what the future of care can look like for our communities.
