Sixty-Four-Twenty Campaign

Trout in the Classroom (TIC) is a great program in our elementary schools in our chapter area, and other areas throughout the state. We made a promise to our students that the program would continue for them and they would be able to release the trout they raised all year. Funding from the Minnesota Trout Unlimited TIC program is extremely limited, and paying for expenses has fallen to the schools and our Chapter. We need help for our chapter classrooms. Historically, we have supported the local schools in Bemidji at Gene Dillon, Schoolcraft, Kellhier, and new this year is Aurora Waasakone. We do have other schools in our chapter area, and we will work with them to support them anyway we can.

In order to support these students for the next year, we need to begin raising money to pay for transportation and operational expenses. The SixtyFour-Twenty Campaign has a goal of raising at least $6,420 for expenses for the 2026-2027 school year. At a minimum, we need just half of our members to step up and donate $64.20. We are planning a fall fundraising event so stay tuned for upcoming information.
