Trout Unlimited - Headwaters Chapter 642

The Headwaters Chapter 642 covers approximately 40% or Minnesota. While the board members are centered around Bemidji, we have members from from all areas.

Our chapter continues to reach out by attending events in Bemidji, Grand Rapids, International Falls, Brainerd, Alexandria, and St. Paul. We do fly casting experience events and fly tying.

We aren’t just teaching a craft; we are building a conservation-minded community and building a passion for fly fishing. We do this through a variety of events.

• Trout in the Classroom Program
• Youth Fly Fishing Program
• Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo
• Opening day, Clearwater River
• Fly tying events (Community fly tying, Youth Outdoor Activity Day, American Fisheries Society club at BSU)
• Fly casting experience events (Forest History Center in Grand Rapids, Youth Outdoor Activity Day in Alexandria, Everything Outdoor Day in Brainerd)
• Fishing events (Pike Hunt)
