Being in medical school is tough, but fostering dogs has brought me so much joy and motivation. Spending time with the pups I’ve fostered (some shown in the collage) has been a constant reminder of why I care so deeply about animal welfare. It is also incredibly inspiring to see how much Rescue Network transforms the lives of so many dogs. I saw this impact firsthand with Wheaties (center photo), who came to me after being shot and is now happily living with his forever family.
This year, the rescue is projected to face nearly $1 million in veterinary expenses for 2025 — and I want to help them continue their life-changing work.
If you’re able, I would be endlessly grateful for any donation to support Rescue Network this Give to the Max Day.
Rescue Network is the primary rescue organization serving South Dakota Reservations, where many dogs receive little-to-no prior veterinary care. Their needs often go far beyond standard vetting to restore them to health. With limited access to animal control or veterinary services in many of these communities, people rely on Rescue Network day-and-night when an animal is in need — and the rescue does just that.
Everyone involved has the biggest hearts and an unwavering dedication to saving lives. Every donation directly supports vulnerable animals, giving them a second chance at health, happiness, and a forever family.
Thank you so much for reading, for caring, and for maybe donating <3
Sincerely,
Rylee
