Halvorson Family for Foster Together MN

As most of you know, Trent and I have been foster parents for over 7 years now, saying YES to over 20 kids so far that have come in & out of our home.  When we started this journey, we did not have much outside support.  Approximately 30-60% of foster parents quit in the first year, stating they felt isolated, fearful and unsupported.  

Thankfully, in 2021, the fabulous Johnson family envisioned and founded Foster Together MN. Today they serve over 400 families, host more than 40 events each year, and have distributed 27,000+ items to almost 1,400 youth in foster care since launching their resource center, Abundant Goods. Without them, we would be lost, disconnected & burned out.  We cannot tell you how many times they have provided for us - they have delivered meals, given advice and brought clothing & necessity items when foster kids have shown up on our doorstep with NOTHING but the clothes on their backs!

Foster Together MN relies on their annual fundraiser and their dedicated monthly donors to keep serving their community so well. Every contribution - no matter how much - makes a difference!
