this Saturday, January 24th, I, Husband and YouTuber Leo Vader, will be playing my favorite game (Hitman Freelancer) for a pretty long time to benefit the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee. i'm not sure what the rest of the world has been hearing, but the Twin Cities are currently suffering an invasion of untrained federal goons who are violently kidnapping our non-white neighbors off the streets and from their homes before determining whether they are carrying the paperwork that deems them human enough to be dumped at the side of the road. if not, they are brought to an overstuffed, hastily re-appropriated building and either deported from the place they live and work and pay taxes in, or totally forgotten as family waits hours for a clown car of criminal buffoons to remember where they put that human being they tried to destroy the life of. if you've heard anything different, you are being lied to (hey, it happens!) and I'd be happy to explain it to you in Twitch or YouTube chat this Saturday.

MIRAC is just one of many local groups doing the work of organizing against ICE. they organized last weekend's Powderhorn Park protest (the biggest immigration protest in Minnesota history) and are pushing to penalize the MPD for breaking Sanctuary city protections by cooperating with ICE, among other efforts to protest and change unjust laws that treat our neighbors as the enemy.

if you prefer mutual aid, here are some links to local mutual aid groups and direct donation options to those affected by this illegalimmoral war on our great, often lied about state.

i know people normally do big out-of-the-box stuff for these marathon streams, but my energy to reinvent the wheel is pretty drained lately so let's just hang out and see why my favorite game is actually the best game, while talking through what's happening to my home and what we're doing about it.
