Everyone is Welcome!
Open Door, a program of Literacy Minnesota, hums with the energy of adult learners, preschoolers, volunteers and staff. In our Minneapolis, Saint Paul and online classes, 68 nationalities and 54 languages are represented!
At all-school potlucks, diverse students and volunteers come together; the buzz is electric, the generous dishes are nourishing and the spirit is fed.
It's a community that clearly lives out our mission and values. Everyone’s a learner. We work to increase access and expand opportunities.
But our vision, a future where literacy eliminates injustice and strengthens communities, is being threatened.
Federal funding cuts and directives are eroding community safety, pathways to citizenship and the ability to meet basic needs.
This Give to the Max Day, we’re raising funds to fill our shared table with opportunity!

💻 Digital skills and career training for high demand, family-supporting jobs.
