Join Nanette's Fringe Fundraiser

Volunteering at the 2025 FringeAnyone who knows me knows how important the Minnesota Fringe Festival is to me. This 32+ year old performing arts festival is the highlight of my year. I've been involved, in one way or another, for over 20 years.

Currently I serve as a board member, a donor, a Fringe With Benefits Member, a volunteer and an enthusiastic attendee. In 2023, I was honored with The Beverlee Award, a special acknowledgment of my ongoing support. Giving my time and resources is one way I can support this wonderful organization.

I've said many times that what I give to the organization pales in comparison to what I receive. I've found a community, made new friends, supported many artists, etc. It's been my gateway to involvement in the broader Twin Cities arts community. Prior to my involvement in the Fringe Festival, I never knew the wealth of opportunities we have.

As you've no doubt heard, the arts are struggling in the face of local corporations and foundations shifting their focus to more basic needs (food, housing, education). In addition the current exclusion of anything resembling DEI from federal support is endangering arts organizations nationwide.

This year I'm asking my community to help me give back to this very special organization. I've pledged to raise $1000 by the end of November. Please give generously to this valuable festival. I'll personally be filling any gap between what you give and my $1000 pledge.
