On behalf of the HLCS Caregiver Advisory Council, we ask you to support Heartland Lakes Community School. We know learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our K–7 scholars spend time outdoors, explore pollinators & ecosystems, and engage in hands-on projects that connect them to their community and the land around them. Every day, students grow curiosity, confidence, and leadership skills — skills that extend far beyond textbooks.
Field Work
Through field-based expeditions, students gather real-world data, collaborate on solving problems, and explore the natural world firsthand. Your gift today helps teachers lead more of these transformative expeditions, expanding opportunities for students to explore, collaborate, and take bold steps in their education.
Hands-On Learning
Hands-on, community-connected projects are at the heart of our curriculum. Students learn to work together, take initiative, and see the impact of their efforts on the world around them. These experiences help our scholars grow into confident, engaged citizens who care for their environment and community. By supporting Heartland Lakes, you ensure that every student has access to meaningful, experiential learning that sparks curiosity and inspires action.
Safety & Security
Safety is just as important as adventure. Contributions also help us update our main entrance with buzz-in features, creating a secure, controlled environment while maintaining a welcoming school for families, staff, and visitors. This tangible improvement ensures our students can learn, explore, and grow in a safe, supportive environment.
Every Donation Matters
Every donation, no matter the size, fuels hands-on discovery, outdoor exploration, and a secure learning environment. $25 can support one student’s expedition experience, $100 can fund a hands-on, outdoor project for an entire class, and larger gifts make it possible to expand our outdoor classrooms and improve school safety.
This Give to the Max Day, join us in making adventures and meaningful learning possible. Together, we can empower our K–7 scholars to engage fully with their environment, collaborate with peers, and take bold steps in learning — all while ensuring Heartland Lakes continues to pursue a safe, welcoming, and inspiring place for every student.
Thank you for standing with our students, teachers, and community. Your support transforms education into an adventure and strengthens our commitment to safety, curiosity, and growth.
Thank you,
