Red Dragonfly Acquisition

Red Dragonfly Press is a small, literary non-profit, that published modern poetry and poetry in translation for twenty-five years, under the direction of the late Scott King. Publishing both fine press and traditionally printed poetry books, Red Dragonfly was a pillar of the Minnesota literary community.

To honor Scott King and Red Dragonfly, and to continue the mission of the press to publish poetry focused on ecological and political topics, Trio House Press is acquiring Red Dragonfly backlist titles, and creating an imprint, Red Dragonfly; we will begin publishing books under this imprint in 2026, and launching the Scott King Prize for a poetry manuscript.
