My Fundraiser for VLN

This Give to the Max Day I am raising money to support Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN), which provides civil legal services to low income MInnesotans through the work of volunteer lawyers.

I serve on VLN’s Board, because I believe everyone deserves access to justice— no matter their income and because VLN is extremely effective at helping to protect the basic human needs of people living in poverty. In fact, one of VLN’s programs was recently featured in the annual report of the Constellation Fund, which focuses on using data and research to assess the impact of nonprofit organizations on communities; the Constellation Fund’s analysis highlighted the “exceptional value” of VLN’s housing program.
