Minnesota Brass 2026 Scholarship Fund

I’ve been a member of Minnesota Brass since 2017, and throughout these years the organization has become a defining part of who I am. What began as a place to perform quickly grew into a community that taught me discipline, confidence, resilience, and what it means to pursue excellence alongside people who feel like family.

Minnesota Brass gives its performers opportunities to grow, not only musically but personally. I’ve experienced firsthand how deeply this activity can shape a person’s path, and I want future members to have the same chance. However, financial barriers can prevent talented students from participating fully.

This year, Minnesota Brass is launching an 80 for 80 fundraiser. The goal is to bring together 80 people who can each donate 80 dollars. Every contribution goes directly to a scholarship fund that helps members across all ensembles afford tuition, travel, and the many costs of a competitive season.

If MBI has taught me anything, it is that the marching arts thrive because people believe in each other. Your support ensures that current and future members continue to grow, achieve, and build memories that last a lifetime.
