Minnesota Brass

Minnesota Brass operates four ensembles that perform throughout the year - Minnesota Brass Drum and Bugle Corps, MBI Winter Guard, MBI Indoor Percussion, MBI Winter Winds, and Minne-Brass. As Minnesota’s premiere marching arts organization, we are proud of our many contributions to our activity as a whole. Our educational staff and alums lead many local marching bands, color guards, and drumlines. We produce marching arts events, including DCI Minnesota, March On!, and Sounds of Minnesota. These shows bring national touring groups to Minnesota, creating a local fan base and exposure that helps to grow the marching arts in many ways. And we are currently expanding our mission by providing private music lessons to students who live in underserved communities, a service enabled by grants from the Minnesota StateArts Board and Metropolitan Regional Arts Council.
