PEACE OF MIND…… YOU bring families in crisis PEACE OF MIND

Every week our family advocates work through multiple Peace of Mind financial requests. From car repairs, to new medical diagnoses, to job losses, to anxiety and depression, to family members passing away—each crisis results in the need for financial help. Hundreds of families in our local community are able to stay in their homes, stay on their jobs, find better jobs or even find new affordable housing because of the CROSS Peace of Mind Program.

The food, the money, the clothing, and the supplies for children are all extremely important, but the real work begins when we walk alongside families and seniors—people who are often feeling alone and overwhelmed. We listen to their stories, we work with them to match resources to their individual needs and help them move toward a brighter future.

After 45 years of serving this community we are blessed to work together with police and fire departments, local places of worship, companies, civic organizations, and thousands of local families to provide CROSS services to those in need.

• "This is the one place that cares for me and you all. I had 4 miles to empty gas tank and two job interviews to go to.  CROSS hooked me up with a 20 dollar gas card and an outfit that makes me feel like I already have the job."
• " One day when I was volunteering the police dropped off a homeless woman who was cold, tired, and hungry.  The CROSS staff gave her a room to sleep in, blankets, and a pillow.  She slept for 6 straight hours before the advocate came to get her food and other help.  I was so proud to be a part of that kind of care.”  

Because of the vast volunteer workforce and produce drives in our community $.94 out of every $1.00 you donate go directly to support CROSS programs!! 

Give to the Max Day

This is the biggest day of giving in Minnesota and at CROSS Services. 100% of donations between November 1 -16 will go to replenish and Peace of Mind Fund and allow CROSS Services to purchase the tools we need to keep families out of crisis.

100% of funds raised during Give to the Max Day Campaign go to support families and individuals in financial crisis.  The goal of Peace of Mind is to provide financial resources to allow CROSS Services team to help walk the family out of crisis into a more stable future.
