WHS Class of 2020!

We are in extraordinary times. Educating and learning through a pandemic is really uncharted territory. What we know is that the impact of COVID-19 has greatly affected the Class of 2020. So many milestones and rites of passages have been affected. We’re all heartbroken about it. But Millers rally; it’s what we do and who we are. We are Miller Strong! 

Please give a gift of any amount to support the WHS Class of 2020 and help us reach our goal of $10,000!

Your donation will help fund an alternative graduation celebration or gift (depending on what is allowed), discounted yearbooks, emergency relief for individual students and families, financial support for college bound students, and other needs that arise for our seniors during this crisis.

The Washburn High School Foundation has a long history of supporting students through mini-grants and scholarships.  The staff have been working hard to provide support throughout their high school years.  The Washburn Parent Group has been planning an all all-night senior party after graduation.  If ever there was a time for creativity, ingenuity and teamwork of the Foundation, the High School and the Parent Group, it’s now. We want to work together  to make a difference in the lives of our seniors during this hard time.
