Washburn High School Foundation

It takes a lot of staff and money to support a large urban school.  Our admin team does an extraordinary job using the dollars allocated by the district to do the most possible, but there are always additional needs to educate in innovative ways, support extracurriculars, and spread Miller Pride.  

The Foundation has given annual admin grants to support these needs. Some of our past grants are:

+Weatherproof blue & orange outdoor tables on the mall for lunch

+New logo floor mats to welcome students, staff, and visitors

+Washburn Athletic Leadership Academy summer program to educate in new ways

+Drones to film athletic events

+Sound system update in the gym to improve pep fests and games

+WHS yard signs to spread Miller Pride

 The Washburn High School Foundation has a long history of support since 1987.   The admin staff is compiling a wish list for the 2023-24 school year and we hope to fund all that they need.  We NEED YOUR HELP!  Go Millers!
