In early 2020 Manitou Center provided 18 hours of training to more than 35 first responders in the Winona community.  These hours of training provided critical, trauma-informed, and culturally competent resiliency training to first responders in an effort to reduce emotional and behavioral health problems, increase stress tolerance, and reduce negative health outcomes, such as burnout and PTSD.  Less than 1 month after we completed the first phase of this face-to-face training, COVID-19 hit Minnesota. Your financial contribution allows us to continue to support these individuals through online training platforms using educational video instruction and webinar meetings.
